Another thing is that I want to do is to incorporate more statuary into the garden. I think it makes an attractive statement and provides dimensional elements to the garden. This greek goddess is one of several that I plan to place in strategic areas of the landscape.
However, I do not want it to take over the yard…it should be a complement to the garden, the flowers are the ‘stars’. My other statues are a boy on a dolphin, a young girl on a pedestal admiring the garden below, and two fairies. In time, I will find a place of honor for all of them. Besides, they’re too heavy to move until I am abso-positively sure of where I’m going to put them.
