Wow! I guess this post is a little overdue, eh? Ok, let’s play catch up. Since my last entry, I have managed to get so much done. I refuse to let something like cold weather get in the way of my stated goals. lol
I have been spending time improving my container garden as evidenced in the previous post. However, I have removed the metal arch shaped arbor and will soon replace it with a white one that matches the house better. I simply relocated the metal arbor (along with the attached carolina jessamine) to the left side of the house to act as an inviting accent to the pond area.
I’ve done a lot of pruning, clean up work, rebuilding beds by using brick borders, planting bulbs and relocating the Goddess statue to a more prominent place right beyond the new white arbor that will be adorned with climbing hydrangea soon. I finally got around to organizing my long handled tools and my potting bench areas. It certainly makes a difference when you get rid of clutter from your workspace!
I’m noticing all of the bulbs peeking out from the ground…..I am SO excited and can’t wait until they make their presence known in vivid living color. Now that I have created a new brick bed, I will have to do a lot of transplanting to fill it….should be interesting how it finally turns out.
